i want install vista my comp have xp running

I WANT TO INSTALL WINDOWS VISTA ON MY COMPUTER WHICH IS CURRENTLY RUNNING ON WIN. XP PRO. SP2 AND I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO INSTALL IT VISTA ON IT WITHOUT HAVING XP STILL ON MY DRIVE! PLEASE HELP!!

Please don't use capitals again - it's highly rude. Use Windows 98 to "uninstall" XP - it's known as a "generic installation operating system" which means that wipes any OS which was originally there because it's installed from boot (you can't install from 2000 or higher you see) and you can then install any other Windows OS you wish onto it from there.

If you have a floppy drive, you can also download a Windows 98 boot disk boot from it and use FDISK to format the disk.
